The Beirut-born bar is expected to open in Dubai this August

If you’ve been to Lebanon and explored its bar scene, chances are you came across Antika Bar. If you’re a fan of the venue, no need to travel back there, as it’s set to open in Dubai.

The contemporary restaurant and lounge with an "open Arabic concept" is set to launch in in DIFC this August, and it promises to serve oriental fusion cuisine with live Levantine entertainment.

Located in Al Fattan Currency House, the new venue will serve modern Arabic cuisine along with live entertainment, including singers, dancers and other live acts.

The interiors will be inspired by the “hidden theatres” of 1950’s Lebanon, filled with antique relics, rich details and a stage in the center so all guests can watch the live shows without hassle.

As for food, guests can expect traditional mezze with a Levantine twist, including infused hummus with lemon, fattoush salad with roasted beetroot and fresh truffle and grilled octopus tajine.

Antika Bar will also feature a weekly schedule of events, including two weekly brunches and a ladies’ night. In late-September, the restaurant will also be setting up an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining.

Seven Management has partnered with Bulldozer Group has partnered up to launch the venue, with its first Seven Sisters in the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Business Bay last year.

While we wait for the opening, Seven Sisters has launched several new nights, including unlimited sushi and throwback dance nights.
